Sergio Persoglia (master degree in Electronic Engineering) joined OGS in 1981 after a period in the industry. He has been Had of the Research and Development Group in Seismics (86-87), Director of the Department Geophysics of the Lithosphere (87-95), Advisor to the President (95-2000), Director of International Collaborations Dept. (2001-now). He has been also Member of the Scientific Committee of I.G.M.- CNR, ECOD delegate in TEDCOM-ODP, Member of the Central Board of Discovery Geophysical Services SpA, President of CO.GE.PRO.(consortium for Deep Gephysical Researches), President of ENeRG (2001). Actually he is also Head of the Secretariat of the EAGE-SEG Italian Branch. Technical and/or Financial Responsible in more than 20 research programs funded by EC, he got a wide experience in research programs management. Actually he is Network Manager of CO2 GeoNet.
