Vector is a multi utility infrastructure company with primarily energy related assets and is listed on the New Zealand stock exchange. It owns and operates the bulk of the New Zealand gas transmission system, gas distribution networks in over 30 major North Island centres, and a key gas processing facility at Kapuni located in the Taranaki region, the centre of New Zealand’s oil and gas industry. Vector also owns and operates electricity networks in two of New Zealand’s major cities, Auckland and Wellington.
Vector owns a metering business that provides services to electricity and gas retailers and also retails LPG and industrial scale natural gas through its retail brand On Gas. Through its Communications arm, Vector provides high performance fibre optic networks servicing its electricity networks as well as broadband services to customers in Auckland and Wellington.
